Dacor repair · Dacor Appliance Support
Whether you cook with gas, induction, or radiant heat, we repair Dacor cooktops carefully—protecting your counters, checking each zone, and making sure you understand the plan before we begin. Same-day and next-day appointments are often available in Chicago, San Francisco, Houston, Miami, Los Angeles, New York, and nearby areas.
Cooktops are the centerpiece of the counter—small scratches or wiring mistakes can create big regrets. Dacor Appliance Support is independent and is not Dacor’s factory team. We reference Dacor simply to describe the product we are repairing.
Gas, radiant, and induction all behave differently when something is wrong. We confirm your fuel or power type first so we are solving the right problem.
If the issue was a pan, a setting, or a part, we explain which it was so you feel confident using the cooktop again.
One induction zone that will not sense a pan, a gas flame that looks too yellow, worries about a chip or crack in the glass, or touch controls that jump on their own are all common. Liquid from cleaning can sneak under glass—we will show you what we find.
We do not recommend prying at glass yourself; improper lifting can damage seals or wiring.
Elements, induction modules, and knobs vary by series. We double-check harness layouts and product stickers before ordering.
Some glass repairs are a great value; others approach the cost of replacement—we walk through both sides so you can decide.
Clear the surface and pull items from the drawer below if it blocks access. Mention any child locks. For gas cooktops, know where the shutoff valve is.
If you suspect a gas leak, leave the area and call your utility from outside, then schedule service. Stop using a cooktop with cracked glass if wiring may be exposed.
Manufacturer warranty questions go to Dacor; we handle the repair visit you book with us.
We are an independent repair company—not a factory-authorized service center. You get clear communication, careful work, and honest guidance on what is worth fixing.
We work on Dacor and similar premium appliances regularly, including built-in and pro-style setups where fit, finish, and correct parts matter.
When we replace components, we use certified parts that match your model whenever they are available for the job.
We offer appointment windows in the metro areas we cover. Same-day and next-day visits are often available—call or use our online form to check the next opening.
Qualifying repairs are covered under our written warranty (typically 30 days on parts and labor). Coverage details are printed on your invoice.
We explain what we found and provide a written estimate before major work. You approve the scope and price before we move ahead.
If repair is not the best option, we will tell you. Our goal is a safe, lasting fix—not unnecessary parts or upsells.
Practical answers about how we work and what to expect.
Single-zone issues often come from a faulty igniter, element, control switch, or connection. We isolate the failed component and verify operation after repair.
This can happen with incompatible cookware, unstable power, or a failing induction module. We test with known-good pans and electrical checks to pinpoint whether the issue is cookware or hardware.
A healthy flame is usually steady and mostly blue. Yellow tipping can mean blocked burner ports or air/gas mix problems and should be corrected for safe, efficient operation.
